Ambassador of Kazakhstan Nurgali Arystanov held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs of Korea Chung Byung-won, during which the parties compared notes on the agenda of Kazakh-Korean cooperation, on Dec. 14.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the schedule of upcoming bilateral events, interaction within the framework of multilateral structures, including the CICA and the Central Asia - Republic of Korea format.
In the context of further enhancing trade and economic cooperation in promising areas such as energy, technology transfer, and tourism were discussed.
The importance of launching educational projects such as the opening of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Korkyt Ata University in Kyzylorda in collaboration with SeoulTech University was highlighted.
The Ambassador expressed confidence that “with the support of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries, there is a great opportunity to further strengthen the expanded strategic partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea”.
For his part, Chung Byung-won expressed the Korean side’s readiness for active engagement on a wide range of issues. At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to continue regular dialogue.
